We went to DCA to show Jimmy the best parade since the Electrical Parade and to see the World of Color. While we were waiting for the parade Jimmy bought Charlie the ice cream he had promised her when she hurt her arm. She enjoyed every bite. Charlie loves the Pixar Parade. The Monsters Inc. monsters and Toy Story characters are her favorite. She can't wait for them to walk by her and then she doesn't really understand where they go. We like to sit at the end of the parade route so the parade turns the corner and goes beyond the wooden doors. When the parade is over she always looks at us with her hands up and says, "Go?" as if to ask where did they go. It is super cute! After the parade, we rode on the Monsters ride, talked to Crush and then ran around in the wilderness area. She discovered a slide she really likes. She must of gone down it 15 times. She is a little too small for the rope climbing area because her feet fall through the holes and you have to be super careful with her arms while holding her. We ordered the picnic lunches for the World of Color tickets. Charlie wanted to eat what Adelyn had of course. Adelyn was very kind to her though and gave her the cupcake after she ate all the sprinkles off herself. That's what cousins are for I guess! Charlie didn't mind one bit. :) While waiting just a little bit for the show to start Grandma gave each of the girls their very own Pooh Bear. (To this day Charlie is still a little confused about his name. She thinks Pooh is "Yucky" but loves to kiss the bear. I totally understand her confusion!) Adelyn was so cute with her Pooh. We had to sing it Happy Birthday and make it a cake. Thanks Mom for making them smile. Anyway, Charlie basically loved the Pre Show better than the real World of Color show. I thought she would really like it because it has music and she really loves to dance. She was a bit restless to say the least. She is not much of a fan of watching anything but Yo Gabba Gabba...she is more of a fan of interactive activities! She is a busy little bee! So all in all, I have come to realize Charlie would rather color her world with more ice cream than watch a really expensive water show. Sorry Disney but you did not impress my kid one bit. I thought it was pretty cool though.

I absolutely LOVE the Pixar Parade. It's the best! And we didn't get a pre-show when we watched the World of Color...bummer!
