A Grand New Kitchen

Charlie was given the most amazing kitchen set today. Evan was ready to pass along his pretend kitchen because he now is old enough to have the freedom he wants in the real kitchen. Charlie loves the world of pretend so this made her extremely happy. It was so cute watching Evan show her where everything goes and how to cook with all the pots and pans. I could tell Evan really loved his kitchen because there was a certain spot where everything went. We were on our way to take a nap before we had to go to Chuck E. Cheese for Janelle's birthday party so she didn't get to play with it too long with Evan. When we got home from the party the kitchen was all she would play with. She especially loved the spice bottles and pretend noodles.
If you were wondering why her face is all red, it is from the pizza she ate at the birthday party. Her face turns red all around her lips when she eats tomato sauce, ranch, strawberries and especially cinnamon flavored anything.

Thanks Evan for making Charlie so happy! You are an awesome cousin!

Off To The Park

We came over to the Cook house to keep Adelyn busy, busy, busy! Grandma and I took the girls to the park to play for awhile. The girls had fun climbing, running, swinging and wagoning all over the place. They look so old!

Baby Logan is Here!

Baby Logan is finally here. He is so cute! I took these when he was 2 days old. Nicole texted me "he is chill" so I think they must have another perfect little baby who likes to sleep. Charlie thinks she is his "big sister" but Adelyn is very quick to tell her she is not! When we went to visit at the hospital Charlie said she wanted to hold him, that he is sleeping, he is hungry and he needs milk. Charlie sure knows how to take care of a baby already. We love you baby Logan. Charlie can't wait to dress you up as her prince! Thanks Nicole and Mike for making me an auntie again.

Disneyland Fun

Jimmy and I decided it would be a nice night for Disneyland and we were right. There was no one there. We walked on a lot of rides and closed the park down at 8 o'clock. We even got on the Nemo ride. Yes, we let Charlotte wear a princess dress out in public. She would wear a princess dress everyday everywhere if we let her. She walks around the house telling us she is a beautiful princess and that she needs a prince. Yikes! Anyway, she really wanted to wear it and we were going to Disneyland so we let her.

Visiting with Daddy/Uncle

We love that Jimmy works so close to home so we can stop by whenever we feel like it. Charlie and Adelyn think it is so cool to sit on the firetruck and honk the horn. Thanks Jimmy for being such a great dad and uncle. The girls love you so much!

Happy Birthday Ethan

What a fun party! Charlie really enjoyed Ethan's party today. I think this was the first birthday party she has gone to and really understood what we were doing. She jumped in the jumper a lot, got to go on a pony ride (she named the horse Bullseye), got to take a train ride, played with huge balloons and ate yummy cake. We had such a good time. When it was time to go she received a party favor bag and was so surprised she got a present too. It was so cute! All the way home she kept saying, "Present for Charlie" and held the bag tight until she fell asleep. It's so nice to see her so thankful. Thanks Wheeler family for inviting us to Ethan's party!

Snow Day

We decided to go up to the Rush cabin for the night to give Charlie the opportunity to play in the snow. The Leggitt's came with us too. It was kind of funny because the only clean patch of snow that was left in Crestline was in the front yard of the cabin. Weird! It was just waiting for us. We bought the coolest sled at Sport Chalet the night before. Logan, Charlie and Jill had a blast sledding down the front yard hill.

We decided to drive up to Snow Valley to go tubing on some bigger hills. Charlie LOVES tubing. She is crazy! She would lay on her belly and hold on all by herself. I can't believe how brave she is. When it snows again we will definitely be taking another trip to the Rush cabin. She loves the snow.
