A Successful 10 Hours of Easter Fun

Charlie and I had a day filled with Easter fun. We woke up at 8 to get ready for our big day together. First, we went to visit Daddy at the fire station. Charlie gathered a few eggs out on the grass to show Daddy her mad egg collecting skills. Then we were off to visit Debbie and Drew. She had fun picking out some eggs for her basket, wearing bunny ears, eating a cookie and holding a great big stuffed bunny. She especially loved playing with the giant Easter eggs on the front porch. For the record, Charlotte opened her first door all by herself today. She managed to open the back door right where the pool was! Boy I need to watch her like a hawk! After Easter number 2 we were off to the Aceytuno's house in La Crescenta for Easter number 3. Charlotte slept in the car all the way there (just like I planned!). Arriving at the Aceytuno house is always great fun. Charlotte enjoyed the swing set, collecting everybody else's baskets full of eggs, eating strawberries and creating a disaster out of Alex and Evan's play room. Sorry boys! Oh yeah, she really loved the hamster too! Lastly, we went to Jim's house for our final Easter. Charlotte had a great time picking up all the balls in the backyard (lemons) and playing with her cousins. She especially loved wearing Madison's pink sparkly shoes and spending time with Auntie Darlene. She carried around her stuffed bunnies Jim gave her all evening. Today was like Christmas all over again. Charlotte came home with 7 baskets, 10 rabbits, a bunch of eggs, and much much more. Thanks everyone for the awesome Easter and Happy Birthday MOM!
