Charlie has really been into animals lately so I thought it would be great to take her to the zoo. However, every time Jimmy and I have wanted to take Charlie to the zoo she has been sick or it is raining. Finally today was the day! It was perfect weather for the zoo animals and we even got Nicole, Adelyn and Grandma to go too. We had a wonderful day! Charlie had a smile on her face all day long.
Highlight of Jimmy's Day: Jimmy got to see the zebras trying to mate. Well, he got to see the male zebra trying to mate and the female ones bucking and making some interesting sounds!
Highlight of my day: Being 3 feet from the giraffe's mouth and watching Charlie kiss a gorilla (through the glass) 
We watched the chimpanzees for awhile until it got too cold.
Highlight of Charlie's Day: Brushing the goats and giving them hugs (so gross!)
Charlie has decided her favorite animal is the zebra, she still talks about the baby giraffe and she says she really likes the zoo. She still says the gorillas are scary but she did kiss one through the glass so I don't know how scary she really thinks they are. We will definitely be back soon.

Isn't the zoo the best? Great pictures! And we've seen that same male zebra a couple times...all I can say is CRAZY! And the giraffes are SO cool at the LA Zoo!
